Z -- LABOR, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND INCIDENTALS TO REMODEL THE PRESENT VISITORS AREA INTO AN EDUCATION CENTER SOL 96-3402000-00110 CBD 96-011 DUE 082896 POC Purchasing Agent, Myra Cordero, 520-343-8134 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, & incidentals necessary to remodel the present visitors area into an Education Center. Project is located at Bureau of Reclamation Desalting Plant Main Office building in Yuma, AZ. The plant is located in the northwest part of the city approximately 1 mile north of 8th Street on Calle Agua Salada. The principle components of the work to be performed include the following: (1) Remove four windows and the metal framing, (2) Remove approximately twelve 2' x4' ceiling lights and remove the each flex cable back to the it's junction box, (3) Remove approximately 80' of vertical window blinds, (4) Install approximately 120 square feet of reflective window film, (5) Frame and sheetrock the area where the windows were removed in Item 1 above, (6) Install drop ceiling tee-bar where the ceiling lights were removed, (7) Furnish & install 2' x 2' ceiling tiles where the ceiling lights were removed, (8) Paint the drop ceiling tiles and tee-bar, (9) Paint Education Center walls, loft area walls, and stairway walls lobby walls and ceiling, and (10) Furnish and install track lighting. Performance time for completion of project is 60 days. Copies of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available on or about August 12, 1996. The proposed project is a 100-percent small business set-aside; the small business size standard is $17 million; and the standard industrial classification code is 1542. Evaluation of quotations will be based on price alone. The estimated deadline date of receipt of bids is August 28, 1996.
