Z -- US POSTAL SERVICE IS ISSUING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO REPLACE ROLL FILTERS/CLEAN & RE-INSULATE DUCTWORK, NEW JERSEY INT'L & BMC, 80 COUNTY RD., JERSEY CITY, NJ 07097-9998 Sol RFP 415046-96-A-0045, Due 082996, POC Project Manager, Charles J. Caramanna, (215) 931-5142. The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services to complete the upgrade of 58 HVAC units. Roll filter assemblies will be removed from all units and replaced with cartridge filter assemblies. Twenty (20) select chill water coils shall be replaced. Ductwork shall be cleaned and insulation replaced on select units. Work will be performed in a fully occupied and operational Postal operation. Units shall be taken out of service one at a time. Repair work shall be invisible to daily Postal operations. Offeror must be experienced in mechanical work and primarily engaged in this line for a minimum of five (5) years and who, in addition, shall have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope. The estimated price range is between $600,000.00 and $800,000.00 with completion within 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
