Z -- REPLACE BOILER AT BUILDING 3766, NAS, KINGSVILLE, TX Sol N62467-96-B-7675 Due 091196 POC Irma Watts or Contracting Officer Charlotte Cummins 512/939-2154 The work involves replacement of a 70 HP firetube boiler at the Consolidated Club, Building 3766, Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas. The upgrade shall also include replacement of the fire water system including on/off valves, clapper valve and pressure switch in the Mechanical Room and relocation of the cooling tower return water line. Also all existing gas lines within the crawl space under the building shall be replaced with double wall pipe. As an additional bid item, a government supplied emergency generator shall be installed and a manual transfer switch to connect the emergency generator to the building electrical system will be installed. The electrical work will also include re-routing of emergency circuits to the new emergency panelboard and incidental related work. Contract completion is 140 days. Contract price is between $250,000 - $500,000. Plans and specifications should be available on or about 11 August 1996 and will be distributed until the supply is exhausted.
