7-311820012, Applicable to the AH-64 Aircraft. This procurement will be
a five year indefinite quantity type contract FOB Destination with
required delivery of 12 ea to New Cumberland, PA., 12 ea to Texarkana,
TX deliveries with First Article Test starting 450 days ADC at 8 ea
and the 8 ea per month thereafater until completion. Delivery of First
Article Test Report 306 days ADC. Deliveries without First Articel
Test of 8 ea beginning 360 days ADC and 8 per month thereafter. This
procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Authority
and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only one Source or Only a Limited
Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract actions is for
supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and
drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted
to aproved sources McDonnell Douglas Helicopter, Mesa, AZ and Parker
Hannifin Corp., Irvine, CA. The time required for approval of new
supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending
approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval
in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions
contained in Section L of the solicitation. Information on meeting of
