DISA has a requirement to upgrade two (2) each RISC 6000 computer workstations from model 53H to model 53F by replacing the planar board and memory cards. The Government is seeking quotations from authorized RISC 6000 small business suppliers/resellers. MARKET SURVEY INFORMATION INDICATES THAT RISC 6000 SUPPLIERS/RESELLERS WILL BE AWARE OF WHAT ITEMS ARE SPECIFICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THE REQUIRED UPGRADE, THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT BE PROVIDING ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TECHNICAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN AS ABOVE. Installation of the required hardware and software is NOT to be provided in the quotation, installation will be performed under a separate maintenance contract already in place with another vendor. The offeror's standard commercial warranty shall apply to any award made as a result of this request for quotation. The items are to be shipped FOB Destination, freight included in the sell price, to an address in the Washington, DC area (specific address to be provided at award). This acquisition is subject to FAR Part 12 for the contracting of commercial items, and within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
