Department of Labor, Supportive of the Employment Standards
Administration, has a requirement for Development of Construction
Industry Information. It is anticipated that the Contractor will have
to perform the following eight activities: (1) Conduct approximately
thirty Davis-Bacon Wage Surveys and Helper Conformance Surveys, (2)
Facilitate identification of the Davis-Bacon survey universe, (3)
Produce Regional Survey Planning Report, a Survey Age Report, an Agency
Construction Plans Report, a Press Report, and special Analysis, (4)
Develop and operate a system to identify association and building
trades union jurisdiction by county, (5) Conduct sample surveys to
determine the need for comprehensive surveys, (6) Provide construction
project data for the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs,
(7) Operate a planning model to assist regional offices in selecting
counties for Davis-Bacon surveys, and (8) Arrange a Davis-Bacon
Conference. The Period of Performance will be for one (1) year with
four (4) one year options. Interested offerors shall request a copy of
RFP L/A 96-29. Only written requests will be accepted. All requests
must be postmarked within 15 days of the date of the CBD synopsis.
