This project involves the renovation of existing patient wards in the Nursing Home Care Unit (NHCU) 1st and 2nd floors, addressing architectural concerns deemed necessary to enhance the current therapeutic environment. The work includes replacing existing deteriorated finishes in patient rooms and corridors such as ceiling tiles, sinks and counter tops and other finishes. The existing nursing stations will be redesigned and constructed. This project will also address patient privacy issues on the patient wards by renovating existing rooms to add private or semi-private bathing facilities. the work involved is primarily architectural, mechanical and electrical design. The A/E shall analyze existing lighting in corridors and recommend upgrading as applicable with the ceiling tile replacement.
