This facility will provide space to perform general maintenance on C-130 aircraft. Functional areas to include maintenance bay, shops and administrative areas. Magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract involving Type ''A'' Investigative Services and at the Option of the government, Type ''B'' Design and Type ''C'' Construction Inspection. Selection of the A-E firm will be based on the following criteria in order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized expedience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with work schedules; (5) Location in the general geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrate success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; (7) The volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the equitable distribution of Department of Defense A-E contracts.
