606-253-8880. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a
multi-award service contract for Non-Personal Services as a Clinical
Reasearcher/Clinical Research Analyst. Duties to be performed at the
Federal Correctional Institution, Old Highway 75, Butner, NC
27509-1000. Services include, but are not limited to providing the
necessary specially skill, educational background, and professional
expertise in the field of Clinical Research in order to collect,
organize, evaluate and prepare draft summaries gathered during the
course of reseach programs conducted at the Federal Correctional
Institution, Butner, NC. The Clinical Reserach Analyst must be able to
analyze data and complete draft reserach reports. Familiarity with
data collection, statistical review and analysis of results is
required. Requirements include a Master's level degree in the field of
social sciences,and have research experience in the area of forensic
psychiatry for the Clinical Research Analyst. Experience with research
in the criminal forsenic area is preferred. Familiarity with DSM III-R
coding is required, and familiarity with JACHO requirements for
accreditation and research is preferred. The Clinical Researcher must
be able to prepare data for analysis and complete draft research
reports. This contract will include a base year not to exceed twelve
(12) months from date of award with four (4), one (1) year option
periods for renewal. Estimated number of sessions for the base year is
fifteen (15) sessions per week for each specialty. One (1) session
equals two (2) hours in length for both the Clinical Researcher, and
Clinical Research Analyst. Option year #1 estimated sessions is 15
sessions for each specialty. Option year #2 estimated sessions is 15
for each specialty; Option year #3 estimated sessions is 15 for each
specialty; Option year #4 estimated sessions is 15 for each specialty.
The anticipated issue date of the Request for Proposal is August 19,
1996, with an anticipated receipt of offer due by September 2, 1996.
