Energy (DOE) intends to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) to
provide technical and administrative support for Environmental
Management (EM) training and education programs, occupational safety
and health training, graphics preparation, and information collection,
analysis, and distribution support. A cost-plus-fixed-fee,
level-of-effort, term contract is anticipated. The requirement is for
an estimated 142,480 Direct Productive Labor Hours over a period of
sixty months. The Department of Energy anticipates awarding a single
contract from initial offerors. This procurement is set-aside for small
business and the Standard Industrial Classification code is 8999. The
solicatiation will be available for down loading on the Internet from
the ''Current Business Opportunities at Headquaters Procurement
Operations'' Home Page located at address
http://www.pr.doe.gov/solicit.html No paper copies of the solicitation
will be made available. Prospective offerors that do not have the
electronic capability to download the solicitation shall submit a
written request to the Contract Specialist for a diskette copy of the
solicitation. The requestor must include a self-addressed stamped
envelope and a MS-DOS formatted high density 3 1/2'' virus free
diskette suitable for download of the electronic solicitation. Offers
who fail to submit an appropriate diskette, or self-addressed stamped
envelope, will not recieve the solicitation. All offerors interested in
receiving notification of solicitation release should notify the
Document Control Specialist through electronic mail at bcc@hq.doe.gov.
The notification of the solicitation must include a point of contact
name, company address, electronic mail address (preferred) or fax
number, and the solicitation number. Notification of solicitation
release will be issued through electronic mail or fax message only.
Notification of any amendments will only be sent to those offerors that
submit an intent to propose notification. It is the responsibility of
the prospective offerors, after receipt of the solicitation, to notify
the designated DOE point of contact of their intent to propose.
Without such notification, prospective offerors will not be informed
when amendments and other solicitation-related information is posted on
the Internet. The intended release date of this RFP is on/or about
