Contracting Officer. The Federal Aviation Administration, Great Lakes
Region, has a requirement for constructing ILS/MALSR components at
Belleville, IL, Bloomington, IL, Rockford, IL, Gaylord, MI and Grand
Rapids, MI. The estimated procurement value for each project is between
$500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance periods range from 100 to 130
calendar days. The FAA plans to start work at Belleville, IL no earlier
than October 1, 1996. The FAA will send a questionaire to those
contractors who are interested in qualifying as a vendor on these
projects. The questionaire will be utilized in determining the firms
most qualified to perform on these projects and subsequently receive a
Request for Offer. The FAA may accept the lowest priced offer without
discussions, however, discussions and/or negotiations may be conducted
with the responsive, qualified firms to determine the contractor
offering the best value. Contract award will be to the contractor
offering the best value to the FAA. If you have successfully completed
2 or more ILS and/or ALS components, excluding PAPIs, VASIs or REILs
in the last 3 years, please respond to this CBD notice before close of
