Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct a new 27,000 sf, one (1) story steel and masonry postal-owned facility at 189 Washington St. in Hartford, CT. Work includes, but is not limited to, sitework, paving, landscaping, concrete, masonry, carpentry, doors, metals, painting, specialties, signage, plumbing, electrical, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00, with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 30, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made.
