This proposed contract action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority cited states only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). This part can only be procured from approved and/or tested sources that have demonstrated the technical ability to produce this item, including possession of the necessary inspection/test equipment and manufacturing technology.
