with delivery of 50 each to Texarkana, TX; 40 each to New Cumberland,
PA; and 25 each to Lathrop, CA. Required delivery is 180 DAC. Authority
and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This proposed contract
action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open
competition because the authority cited states only one responsible
source or only a limited number of sources and no other supplies or
services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). This item is
a Flight Safety Part. This part can only be procured from approved
and/or tested sources that have demonstrated the technical ability to
produce this item, including possession of the necessary
inspection/test equipment and manufacturing technology. Firms that
recognize and can produce the required item described above are
encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer and
provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which will
permit their participation in the current or future solicitations. See
