435-0364. It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH),
National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to issue Invitation
for Bid (IFB) Number NHLBI-HL-P-96-113 to purchase a Differential
Image Acquisition System for installation in the Laboratory of
Biochemistry, NHLBI. The system shall meet the following minimum
specifications: 1) The sensor shall be fully x-y addressable, have no
less than a 128 x 128 pixel resolution, and be capable of variable data
acquisition rates at speeds up to 0.6 msec per full frame (1,700
frames/second) with sufficient storage to allow continuous recording of
at least 3,000 frames, and minimum of 72 dB dynamic range, with sensor
sensitivity to detect at least less than 0.1% change in signal
amplitude; 2) The camera shall be c-mount adaptable and shall be
capable of being mounted on a Zeiss Axiovert 100 inverted microscope;
3) The system shall be able to display data in single frames, multiple
frames, and sequential displays under control of a standard, Windows
compatible PC, and shall include all software necessary to produce such
displays; 4) The system shall provide external event triggering and
on-chip averaging; 5) The system shall provide transportability of data
in the form of single frame TIFF files or other suitable format
compatible with Windows standard; 6) The system shall include a Windows
compatible PC with a math co-processor, 17'' BUS graphics card, Super
high resolution monitor, DOS with Windows, GPIB interface card, and a
Magneto Optical Disk; and 7) The overall system shall be comprised of,
at a minimum, the camera sensor, the signal processor, c-mount,
cables, all power supplies, software, and peripherals listed under
number 6 above. Training on the system shall be provided for one
operator. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code
is 3826. It is anticipated that Invitation for Bid (IFB) Number
NHLBI-HL-P-96-113 will be issued on or about August 15, 1996. Copies
