Sources sought for a RAID level 5 disk storage system. RAID system will be used as storage space for a Silicon Graphics, Inc. Challenge L workstation. System must interface the Challenge L computer via two SCSI channels on a Power Channel 2 HIO board, minimum 90GB storage capacity, and include a RISC controller with 64MB cache expandable to 512MB of cache. Must have capability to support up to 30 disk drives and must have been tested and labeled to be compatible with the SGI Challenge L system. See Note 1, this is a 100% small business set-aside. Vendor must also have been in business for a minimum of five (5) years in order to qualify to bid on this project.
