The place of performance will be Mare Island Shipyard, Vallejo, CA. This will be a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (Task Order) contract. Contract will include the base year (September 01, 1996 through August 31, 1997) plus two option years. Preventative maintenance will be awarded by lots (60%/40% split) on a monthly basis. Evaluations for award will be based on price, technical capability, and past performance. Written proposals, to include price and certifications required by the solicitation, will be due at 9:00am on August 27, 1996. Oral presentations addressing technical capablility and past performance will begin the afternoon of August 27, 1996. Each contractor will have no longer than 30 minutes for the oral presentation. Site visits are tentatively scheduled for August 28, 1996. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. (0213)
