VanKleef, Contracting Officer, (703) 767-8488 Defense Fuel Supply Center is soliciting management and support services to create a single DoD ''Air Card'' that will be utilized by various military services and eventually incorporated into Government-wide use. The contractor will be responsibleto process transactions for local purchases, and oversee fuel quality at commercial locations where fuel is purchased. The contractor will be expected to use existing technology and commercially available services to process large numbers of retailfuel transactions and provide detailed transaction data. Contractors will eventually be responsible to integrate their processes with Defense Fuel Supply Center Fuels Automated System (FAS). A pilot test period is scheduled to begin on 01 Oct 96through 31 Dec 96, with Government-wide implementation scheduled throughout the four one-year options.
