U -- COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING (CAD) INSTRUCTOR SOL IFB 235-0039 DUE 090996 POC Don Miller, Contracting Officer, (214) 767-5089. The successful offeror shall provide inmates housed at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, with the knowledge and skills in drafting terminology, operating techniques for CAD equipment, and various types of CAD software used in drafting and engineering. The program will be conducted using AutoCAD Release 13 and 486-66 megahertz or pentium based systems with CD and sound capabilities. The contractor will work a maximum of 30 hours per week. Performance of this contract will include a base period not to exceed twelve (12) months and four (4) subsequent option years, if exercised. The Government has the unilateral right to exercise each option year. The place of delivery will be the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas. The performance periods are as follows: Base Year - Date of award through 12 months from date of contract award; Option Year #1 - 13 months from date of award through 24 months from date of contract award; Option Year #2 - 25 months from contract award through 36 months from date of contract award; Option Year #3 - 37 months from date of award through 48 months from date of contract award; Option Year #4 - 49 months from date of award through 60 months from date of contract award.
