The new War Readiness Material Storage Facility is a 9,600 square-foot, single-story pre-engineered metal building. The exterior materials of the building consist of pre-finished metal panel walls and pre-finished standing seam fascia and roof system. Interior finishes consist of exposed structural components and a concrete slab floor. Gas- fired unit heaters with forced-air ventilation and wet pipe fire sprinkler system are included. The addition to the Base supply Warehouse facility will provide approximately 15,000 square feet of single-story storage space. The exterior materials of the facility will consist of painted CMU masonry walls. Interior materials consist of painted CMU walls and exposed structure. Gas-fired unit heaters with forced-air ventilation will be provided. A dry pipe fire sprinkler system to match the existing fire sprinkler system will be required. The concrete floor will have an applied urethane sealer. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis system) is required. Bid documents are available on or about 06 August 1996. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $17.00. Specifications $42.00. Cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for Plans and Specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a Prime contractor or a Subcontractor.
