Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) Work consists of modifications to the building electrical systems, including emergency generators and uninterrupted power sources, lightning protection systems, upgrading the fire alarm and communications systems and alterations to existing walls, ceilings and floors. Special security requirements and construction phasing will be required to maintain the operations in the facility during construction. A new ancillary addition to support electrical equipment will be required. Interior work to the existing facility consists of new suspended ceiling tile and grid suspended gypsum board walls, floor finishes, new doors/frames, painting and asbestos abatement. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. Bid documents are available on or about 13 August 1996. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $17.50. Specifications $21.00.
