The work consists of dredging and disposal of approximately 1,841,000 cubic meters of material to deepen the Richmond Harbor to a project depth of -11.6 meters MLLW plus 30 to 60 centimeters allowable overdepth. The work also includes dredging and disposal of approximately 6,000 cubic meters of bedrock material. Disposal will be at the Government-furnished ocean and land disposal areas. A site visit to view the Parking Lot Disposal Area is scheduled for August 19, 1996 at 10:30 a.m.. Prospective bidders should assemble at the guard gate at the end of Canal Blvd, Richmond, California. No transportation will be furnished.
