PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes repair and removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) from the Sycamore Canyon Test Stands, NAS Miramar. The structures involved in this project are: The Administration Building, Building 7, the east stand and west stand of the East Canyon Test Stands, and the West Canyon Test Stand. The types of materials involved are floor tiles and mastics, thermal system insulation, miscellaneous debris, transite piping, and piping gaskets. The project includes providing all materials, labor, equipment, supplies, testing, and certifications to remove, repair, and clean-up ACM at the identified sites and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 60 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1799 and the annual size standard is $7 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
