SOL GS03P96AZC1001 DUE 091096 POC Contract Specialist, Daniel Langan, (215) 656-6123 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate approximately 630gsm (6800sf) on the 10th & 12 floors of the U.S. Customs House into new laboratory and office space for the Food and Drug Administration, 2nd and Chestnut Sts., Phila., PA 19106. The work includes selective removal of existing partitions, ceilings, finishes and miscellaneous items in preparation for ensuing new construction. The work also includes the salvage of certain items for reinstallation. The work includes new interior partitions, doors, ceilings, accessories, finishes, mechanical systems, fire protection systems, plumbing systems, electrical power and lighting and coordination of this work with the installation of modular furniture and laboratory casework under a separate contract. This procurement issued for full and open competition. SIC Code 1542. This project is to be built entirely in metric units. The estimated cost range of this project is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The General Contractor shall have completed within the last five (5) years at least three (3) laboratory projects comparable in the scope and nature. The construction cost for these projects must have been at least $500,000.00. The solicitation package should be available on or before August 7, 1996. There is a non-refundable fee of $85.00 which includes all amendments, for each solicitation package.
