The work includes the conservation, restoration and repair of approximately 150 grave markers in eight historic cemeteries at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Fort Bragg is a major U.S. Army installation near Fayetteville, N.C. Work will address all stone markers in need of treatment, cleaning of stones where necessary, and any needed leveling or resetting of stones, replacement and/or treatment of wooden markers and chemical treatment and painting of metal markers. The Work does not include replacement of stone markers, work on the stone walls surrounding the cemeteries, or the clearing of vegetation. Solicitation will be available August 16, 1996.
