Housing Nakwasina Barge - This project includes haulout, painting, zincs, MSC change out and anchor winch brake shear pin replacement. The barge is steel construction with two-story wood frame housing structure on deck. Steel hull has 32 ft. beam X 85 ft. length, draft approximately 2 ft. displacement, approximately 170 ton. Present location of the barge is Pt. Alice, Hecata Island, Southeast Alaska, approximately 55 air miles W, NW of Ketchikan, Alaska. The barge will be moored in the Ketchikan area prior to work commencing. Work is estimated to commence approximately September 15, 1996.
