16 -- FABRICATION OF LANTIRN FLIR TARGETING SYSTEM EQUIPMENT SOL N00019-95-C-0251 POC Contact, KATHARINE CATERSON, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to exercise Option 2 of Contract N00019-95-C-0251 with Lockheed Martin Corporation. The option exercise is for the fabrication of LANTIRN FLIR targeting systems, spares, contractor maintenance services, sustaining integrated logistic support (ILS), administrative/financial data, the refurbishment of LANTIRN Targeting pods, contractor flight test support for F-14A, F-14B upgrade, and F-14D aircraft, materials and services necessary to repair, modify, restore, and/or return to ready-for-issue condition items of Government Furnished Property (GFP), support equipment design and development, and all necessary technical data. As the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F-14 LANTIRN systems, Lockheed Martin Corporation is the only known source who possesses the required expertise and knowledge to provide the effort within the timeframe required.
