54 -- FIBERGLASS CONTROL BOOTH SOL DAHA18-96-Q-0016. Contact Point, Dana Dowell, 410-780-8284, Contracting Officer. The Maryland Air National Guard intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Donaldson Torit Products to furnish all components required for the complete installation and operation of Model ECB 3 Environmental Control Booth. Scope of work consist of providing an environmental control booth and associated equipment and filters required to control both particulate and volatile organic vapors generated during fiberglass curing and sanding. Work space inside booth must be at least 130'' wide X 85'' high X 90'' deep. In accordance with environmental and safety requirements, a minimum of 150 fpm face velocity must be maintained without the use of additional respiratory protection. Booth must be outfitted with acoustical panels containing 2'' of fiberglass sound abatement material compressed to a thickness of 1''. Booth must be resistant to sparks and flammable vapors to reduce the possibility of ignition. System must be able to be cleaned using no cleaning materials requiring special/hazardous handling. Filter cleaning must be automatic and be able to be performed after hours. The booth must provide exposure protection for particulate and volatile organic vapors in a closed loop system (no exhaust to the environment) and thereby not requiring workers to wear any respiratory protection during operations. The equipment is to be delivered to the Maryland Air National Guard, Martin State Airport, 2701 Eastern Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland.
