NASA Langley Research Center and NASA Dryden Flight Research Center intend to release a draft Statement of Work (SOW) and preliminary design files/substantiation for the Hyper-X Research Vehicle Production effort for comment, on or about August 9, 1996. Also see the sources sought synopsis notice published in the CBD on 6-24-96 for Hyper-X Research Vehicle Fabrication for a broader program description. All interested parties should send a request for these specifications to NASA Langley Research Center, Mail Stop 126, Attn: R. Bradley Gardner, Hampton, VA 23681-0001. The design files/substantiation are designated ITAR. In addition, as portions of the design files/substantiation are classified Secret, interested parties should furnish an appropriate address for receiving classified data. Interested parties only seeking non-classified data should so indicate on their request. Comments are due by August 23, 1996. NASA will assess the comments received and take such action as it determines to be appropriate. The Government's action on these comments shall be final. Those parties responding to this notice will also be furnished updates to the data as it becomes available. It is anticipated that the next published notice shall be for the purpose of notifying prospective offerors regarding the availability of the Request for Proposal (RFP). (0214)
