C -- ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL 612-44-96 DUE 091096 POC Vince Osorio (510) 372-2038 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Health Care System 2300 Contra Costa Blvd., Pleasant Hill, California 94523, has a requirement for a professional ARCHITECT/ENGINEER(A/E) firm to provide A/E services to include planning consultations, investigative services, site visits, design, and construction period services to effect Expansion/Renovation work at the Martinez campus at 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94533. Present project expectations include work in Buildings #5, 6 and 19, and will include complete renovation and upgrade of an existing clinical reference laboratory, expansion and renovation of existing outpatient clinic space, replacement of a building roofing system, replacement of windows, life safety upgrades, and general interior and exterior architectural finish upgrades. A/E team must include roofing contractor/expert and structural engineer. Construction documents shall include detailed drawings, specifications, construction scheduling/phasing, and construction cost estimate. Drawings are to be produced on AutoCad V. 13. CD's will include both English and metric dimensions. Area of Consideration within seventy-five (75) mile radius of Martinez, CA. Interested firms shall submit SF 254 and SF 255 to the issuing office by close of business September 10, 1996 This is not a request for proposals nor will a solicitation be issued.
