C -- C-130 AERIAL PORT TRAINING FACILITY SOL BXRH94-9735-AE00 POC Contract Specialist Daniel Bullock (208) 422-6316 (Site Code DAHA10) Architect-Engineer Design Services for a 14,200 SF Aerial Port Training Facility for the Idaho Air National Guard, Boise Air Terminal (Gowen Field) Boise, Idaho. This facility provides space to perform training and support for the C-130 Aerial Port. Functional areas to include Air terminal Operations Center, Terminal Services, Aerial Delivery Shop, Passenger Terminal, Warehouse, and Classrooms. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed price Contract involving type ''A'' Investigative Services and at the option of the government, Type ''B'' Design and Type ''C'' Construction Inspection. Selection of the A-E firm will be based on the following criteria in order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required service; (2) Specialized expedience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with work schedules; (5) Location in the general geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provided, that the application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; (6) Demonstrate success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; (7) the volume of work previously awarded the firm by the Department of Defense shall be considered, with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of Department of Defense A-E contracts.
