In addition to routine maintenance services, the Contractor will be required to provide technical/troubleshooting assistance and engineering assistance. The Contractor will also be required to perform the services of repair, installation, removal, frequency changes, and preventative maintenance inspections for all government-owned commercial two-way radio communications equipment and systems as required. The Contractor must also be available to provide emergency maintenance or repair services outside of normal duty hours. The performance period for the basic contract is 12 months from 01 Oct 96 with two (2) options for a total of 36 months. Unit of issue is month per type of equipment.
