Notice of intent to extend performance under contract N00612-91-C-0223 for the period 01 SEP 96 through 30 Sep 96 on sole source basis to Martin Marietta Services, Inc., 2339 Route 70 West, SW-3, Cherry Hill, NJ 08358-0001 with option provision to extend an additional one-month period through 31 Oct 96. Services are for operation and maintenance of the Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility, Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. Technical services cover fixed and mobile instrumentation equipment and facilities located on islands, surface vessels, and aircraft in the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of Puerto Rico. Contract shall operate and maintain AFWTF instrumentation, equipment and facilities. Particular emphasis is placed on experience with SSRNM, PACER, MK-30 Targets, MK-46 and MK-50 Torpedos, ACDS equipment, cryptographic equipment, automated video bomb scoring, laser scoring systems, phased array radars, aerial targets AQM-37C, BQM-34S, BQM-74C/E and their associated target control systems, electrical power generators and UPS power supply units, digital range coordination network, central data processing and distribution systems and TPS, TRS, NJS and OBS instrumentation.
