DIGITAL RADIO FREQUENCY MEMORY (DRFM) INTERFACE REQUIREMENTS Contact Capt. David Kaneshiro, WL/AAMP, (513) 255-6127. The Radio Frequency Technology Division of the Wright Laboratory, Avionics Directorate, Wright-Patterson AFB OH, requests information on Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) interface requirements. Under tasking of the United States Department of Defense Joint Directors of Laboratories Technology Panel for Electronic Warfare (JDL--TPEW), RF Countermeasures Committee, Coherent Jamming Subcommittee, the Tri-Service DRFM Kernel Working Group is developing a specification for a low-cost DRFM Kernel. The purpose is to develop a common DRFM kernel that meets the radar jamming requirements of all three military services and can be utilized in existing and future countermeasures development systems. Upon completion of the specification, the DRFM Working Group plans to build narrowband DRFMs that support multiple applications. This announcement is an expression of interest only and the Government is not obligated to compensate the respondents in any way. Response to this request is on a voluntary basis and failure to respond will not impact any future acquisition. Interested individuals from government, industry, and academia are invited to submit information relevant to the proposed specification.
