DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes Part A: Construct a new detached single story Training Building. Construct a two-story attached addition to the existing Administration Building. Construct a single-story attached addition to the existing Air Operations Building. Included within the project are utility connections, fire protection systems, electrical transformers, and modification of existing buildings. Other major work includes utility improvements, associated civil, sitework, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, electrical work, and landscaping. Part B: Construction of a single-story attached addition to the existing Air Operations Building. Includes utility connections, fire protection systems, electrical transformer, and modification of existing building. Other major work includes utility improvements, associated civil/sitework, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, and electrical work and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 million.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 164 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
