DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment required to provide one High Bay Automated Warehouse with associated office space. Included within the project are utility connections, fire protection systems, electrical substations and transformers, and an Automated Material Handling and Retrieval System. Other work includes fencing and gates, utility improvements, and associated civil, sitework, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, electrical work and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 million.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 296 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
