DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes all labor and the furnishing, and installation of all materials and equipment required to complete the new two-story HAZ-MAT/Security Building. Included within the project are utility connections, fire protection systems, and electrical transformers. Other major work includes utility improvements, associated civil, sitework, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical work, retaining walls, bridge crane, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 million.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 195 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office.
