PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - This is a Design/Build project that will require submission of both Technical and Price proposals. The work includes alteration to existing engine test cell. This project will modify the existing T-76 Engine Test Cell to accommodate the testing of the T-58-16 turboshaft engine. Work will include demolition and removal of the exiting turboprop engine exhaust augmenter, demolition of the turboporp office wall, and demolition of a concrete T-76 test cab interface shed on the outside of the test cell. The addition of the two new augmenters to remove exhaust from a air brake dynamometer and the turboshaft engines will be provided. Also includes construction of a diked fuel skid and its associated lines and hoses and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 million. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 300 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
