Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, material, equipment and supervision as necessary to (1) Remove and replace clay tile mansard roof: Retain and reuse newly installed clay tile. Repair roof deck where needed. Remove copper flashing. Reuse all other flat copper-flashing. Install new copper coping. Install new drain heads and screening. Install a built-up roof. Clean, polish and seal the copper cupola roof. (2) Tuckpoint existing brick and stone walls: Hand rake loose mortar joints. Clean stone cornices. Repair the cornice dentils and cornices as needed. (3) Exterior painting: On building exterior, prepare, prime and paint all painted surfaces. Remove and replace rotten wood members on the cupola and repair wood as needed. The completion time for this project is two-hundred ten (210) calendar days from On-Site Notice-to-Proceed. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.00. Specifications will be available on or about August 23, 1996. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on September 24, 1996 at 2:00 pm (local time). The proposed contract is being solicited under the small business competitiveness demonstration program and is open to small and large business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1761 with an average annual gross revenue of $7 million for the last three (3) years. Funding is not presently available for this procurement.
