70 -- ACQUISITION OF COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT DUE 081996 POC Marcia Friedman Katz Tel: (410) 965-9477 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to acquire the following equipment from Computer Network Technology (CNT) GSA Schedule: CNT 5321-net SAU+ with N110 Network ILC - requires Y315 or Y316 (2 each); C200-IBM Host peripheral CE (1 each); N110-Network ILC included 41XX, 51XX, 52XX, 53XX, 54XX Base Systems (2 each); N200-Network Priorities (2 each); W100-Dual V.35/LCP, 9600bps to 4Mbps - Port ALCP and HSS2 (2 each); P100-IBM peripheral (1 each); Installation and Reconfiguration. The only known source for this equipment is Computer Network Technology. This equipment will be installed in the National Computer Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Interested schedule and nonschedule vendors who can provide the mentioned equipment are invited to submit in writing a substantial statement clearly demonstrating their ability to provide the equipment, GSA contract number (if appropriate) and prices. Written responses must be received in this office at the address above within 15 calendar days after this publication. Responses should reference synopsis number MFK-7709. This is not a formal solicitation document. However, information submitted will be used in SSA's assessment of capable sources. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
