R -- ORGANIZING AND INDEXING THE AIR FORCE HISTORY SUPPORT OFFICE (AFHSO) PHOTO ARCHIVE SOL F49642-96-Q-1036 DUE 090396 POC Contact, Karen Oswalt, Contracting Officer, 202/767-7979 or -8099 11 CONS/LGCX intends to procure services to organize and index the AFSHO's archive of black and white and color prints, transparencies, and negatives. The archive co66Y,WkKm+rrently fills five, five-drawer file cabinet and 50 Hollinger boxes. In performance of this effort the contractor will examine each of the prints, negatives, and slides in the file cabinets and prepare a subject phylum that order the collection into recognized categories. Second, the contractor will relabel folders, add new folders as necessary, and reorder the collection of illustrations. Third, the contractor will identify and provide captions for those photographs currently unidentified. Forth, the contractor will remove all material other than those illustrations from the Hollinger boxes and package appropriate materials and prepare forms for retirement in the National Archives. Fifth, the contractor will prepare sign-in/sign-out instructions and a short guide to the collection. FZ/+, the contractor will prepare a subject index for all folders that cross-references related subjects. Period of performance is estimated to be a part time effort for a period of 39 weeks.
