The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Develop a 10 acre site for housing infrasturcture consisting of streets (bituminous pavement 520 tons w/3,500 SY of base course), concrete curb and gutters, traffic signage, rough and finish grading, sanitary sewer and storm drainage (70 LF of 24-inch RCP and 275 LF of 32-inch RCP). Site utilities include a central use 12,000 gallon LP gas tank and service lines, new water well with chlorine treatment and 75,000 gallon ground storage reservior, water lines, new electrical underground distribution system and street lights. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a August 20, 1996. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request.
