Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Provide high and low level alarms for Tank 123. Reconfigure JP-8 storage. Install new aviation fuel receiving filter at Bldg 403 and expand pumphouse. Demolish abandoned pumphouses and fillstands and construct new fillstands at Bldg 403 and Bldg 749. Repair liquid fuel unloading pier header. Sandblast and coat for corrosion control five aboveground fuel storage tanks and piping. Clean, disconnect and abandon in place existing tank 8 and connected piping and replace with two 30,000 gallon tanks, truckfill stand and fuel operations shack. Remove three 20,000 gallon and one 40,000 gallon underground fuel storage tank and associated pipelines at the power plant. Replace with two 30,000 gallon, skid mounted, self-diked aboveground storage tanks on concrete pad. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
