Ramos, Contracting Officer, 904-882-5628. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Addition to Building 1352, Eglin AFB, FL. Bid opening date of 16 Sep 96 is only an estimated day. In general, the work shall consist of, but will not be limited to the following: Breaking out and removal of existing asphaltic paving, sidewalks, curbs, etc. where the new addition is located. Providing new concrete foundations, new concrete block and insulated metal sidewalls, raised seam metal roofing, pre-engineered steel framing system, steel doors and frames, overhead metal rolling doors, site work and drainage system and all electrical and mechanical systems to support the new additions. The work further includes plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, utilities and interior finishes. Project construction time is 180 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
