This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below) by NTT. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. This public notice is not intended to guarantee public notification of procurement of the product. (1) Name: (i) G3 Facsimile (ii) G4 Facsimile (2) Overview: (i) This equipment is a Group 3 facsimile specified in Recommendation ITU-T, and connected to Telephone Network or Facsimile Communication Network. (ii) This equipment is a Group 4 facsimile specified in Recommendation ITU-T, and connected to ISDN (Integrated Service Digital Network). It can also communicate with Group 3 facsimile connected to Telephone Network. The recording method is the electronic photography recording method. Both equipments were brought out after fiscal 1995 or will be on the market in the future. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. This is not, however, a request for suppliers to provide proprietary and/or confidential information, (i} Technical information: - Main features, - Service features, - System configuration, - Extension interface (extension equipment to be connected, interface specifications), - Network interface (applicable network, transmitting ratio, interface specifications, connection type), - Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, calorific value), - Electrical conditions (input voltage, frequency, consumption power, protection for thunderbolt, protection for electromagnetic waves), - Physical conditions (appearance, dimensions, weight, durable years), (ii) Prices: - Price of an unit, - Price of optional products, - Installation fee, - Maintenance fee, (iii) Standard delivery term after receiving order, (iv) Sale showings, (v) Others: - Development and manufacturing organization (organization and term which is necessary to add/change functions), - Maintenance support (organization and term for maintenance, way of delivery manuals), - Plan of development in the future, - Any other active proposals which would be useful for NTT's business. (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor: Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information listed below. After preparing a list of supplied information, NTT will provide the list of suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have purchased the PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION relating to procurement of the product. NTT, however, will undertake no responsibilities for any outcomes arising from supply of the list, (i) Name of supplier, (ii) Place of contact (Address, name of the person in charge, telephone number, and fascimile number).
