61 -- COMPUTER POWER DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT (DPS) SOL N00178-96-Q-0133 DUE 090596 POC Susan E. Atwell, Purchasing Agent 540-653-8830. The Government intends to award a contract under competitive Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the procurement of a 200 KVA Distribution Power System (DPS), 480 volts In 208Y/120 Out, 126 pole panelboard with sub-main breakers, CM2150 circuit monitor, 277 VAC shunt main breaker, 120 DB isolation transformer, bolt-on circuit breakers installed in accordance with specifications included in quote N00178-96-Q-0133. This DPS is designed primarily for distribution of electrical power in a computer room, however, its design shall also permit its use in office, factory and other applications as well. The DPS provides isolation, distribution, control and monitoring of AC power and will properly interface the building's AC power source with sensitive electronic loads. All responsible sources shall provide documentation for manufacturer specializing in the manufacturing of these type of products specified in this announcement with a minimum of five (5) years documented experience and shall be with a nationwide factory service organization.
