61 -- POWER CONVERTER SOL N00164-96-Q-0395 POC Contact, Code 1164EH, Gary Mundy, FAX 812-854-3465 The Navy requires 60 each +5 VDC Power Converters. The Power Converters will provide primary power for digital switching circuitry with a maximum clock speed of 40 MHz. NAVSEA Source Control Drawing No. 6891392, Rev. F will used for the purchase. The procurement will include FOB destination delivery to NSWC, Crane, IN, within 30 days after award of contract. Technical requirements include output voltage of 5.0 VDC +.15VDC, -.1VDC, output current of 16 A minimum at maximum output voltage, efficiency of 65% minimum over the specified operating range, and input voltage range of 81 to 98 VDC. The mean time failure shall be 20,000 hours minimum. The only approved source of supply for this item is Abbott Electronics, Inc., Los Angeles, CA. Any other source of supply must be approved by NSWC Crane prior to acceptance of items. Quality assurance pnsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (0218)
