Hughes 816-823-1342 Fax 823-3447 The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA, intends to solicit and purchase the following items in support of National Weather Service stock supply program: 100 each Wind Direction transmitter, P/N 33080, Cage 82205, Wind Speed Transmitter, p/n 33079, Cage 82205. The Government intends to contract with the Belfort Instrument Company of Baltimore, MD for the equipment identified above. The proposed procurement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit to only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This is not a call for proposals and no solicitation will be issued. This item is believed to be proprietary and available only from the source identified. Due to compatibility issues with existing National Weather Service standards no alternative items are acceptable. The Government does not have specifications or drawings. The equipment will be purchased for the National Logistics Support Center and delivered to Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
