The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Washington intends to purchase Bulk Chemicals Requirments for Closed-Loop facilities to support continuous needs of the Naval Aviation Depot in Jacksonville, Florida for their Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plants (IWWTPs). This is a just-in-time procurement and the vendor(s) must be able to meet the delivery requirements. Deliveries are to be made by oral orders, and must be made within 24 hours for emergency requests and between 48 and 72 hours for routine requests, to any or all of three specific locations in Jacksonville, Florida. The contractor must have facilities capable of providing the services requested with adequate stock and storage space to meet the time constraits of timely deliveries. These facilities must meet all federal requlations and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements. The transporting vehicle must have a hydraulic lift tailgate mechanism and a pallet jack for moving pallets of material. The following is a list of minimum required quantities for this procurement: 1) Hydrogen Peroxide 50% - 60% concentration, 55 gallon drum, 18 drums per year. 2) Sodium Hypochlorite 9.2 - 11.5% concentration, 55 gallon drum, 300 drums per year. 3) Sodium Hydroxide 50% Rayon Grade, 55 gallon drum, 210 drums per year. 4) Sulfuric Acid 62% - 75% concentration, 55 gallon drum, 55 drums per year. 5) Polymer - WW-T 1082, 5 gallon can, 10 cans per year. 6) Sodium Bisulfite - BWT 219, 55 gallon drum, 100 drums per year. 7) Evaporation Defoaming - Siltech E-2203, 5 gallon can, 10 cans per year. 8) Sulfamic Acid 99.5% concentration, 55 pound bags, 500 bags per year. 9) Citric Acid 99.5% concentration, 55 pound bags, 325 bags per year. 10) Diatomaceous Earth - CELATOM SP50, 50 pound bags, 50 bags per year. 11) Ferrous Sulfate - HEPTHAHYDRATE, 55 pound bag, 2300 bags per year. 12) Chelating Agent - Hampene 220, 55 pound bag, 55 bags per year. 13) Line - Hydrated 97% concentration, 55 pound bag, 3600 bags per year.
