The 56th Contracting Squadron for Armstrong Lbaboratory (MESA, Az) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Silicon Graphics Inc (SGI) 4605 E Elwood St, Ste 600, Phoenix, Az 85040, unless responses to this synopsis reveal other sources capable of satisfying the requirement. SGI is the only known responsible source to satisfy the agency requirement. The government requires Server, Challenge L, SGI to include the following support equipment: (a) VME 6u-9u Board, (b) 680 MB Quad Speed CD-ROM, (c) 2ea - 2GB SCSI Disk Drive, (d) SCSI Expansion-(2 10 MHz/16 bit Differential Mezzanine Card), (e) IRIX 5.3 Operating system Software and manuals, (f) ProDev/C Right to use Bundle for C Development, (g) 7GB 8mm Internal Drive, (h) Destination Kit for L series. This equipment is for development of a F-16 Research Simulator System for a one-of-a-kind Digital Radar Landmass Simulator (DRLMS).
